The WAOE Coordinating Ring includes elected officers and appointed officers in organizational committees, as well as representatives of autonomously generated O-CREWs (Online Course and Resource Evaluation Workgroups).
Appointed Officers, volunteering technical or organizational expertise, are also members of the Coordinating Ring. For enquiries about administrative committees, click on the Committee menu item.
Map created and maintained by Roberto Mueller, Brazil
WAOE is not dominated by any geographical region. WAOE's elected Directors are in 5 countries, and Coordinating Ring officers spans 15 countries. On the map above, when you place your mouse on the members name a small box will indicate in which country that member currently lives. If the member's country of origin is different than their residence, a line will radiate from their current residence to their country of origin. For example, when you place your mouse over the name of John Afele you will see the red box placed in Eastern Canada (where he lives), while the white line points to Ghana -- his home country and where he continues to do work for online learning within Africa.
