Tasks of Online Educator Development Committee (OEDC)
- Proposing related OCREWs as needed and assisting the Vice President in
setting up their work area, duration and other parameters. This is
applicable to only those OCREWs which are either directly related to
OEDC or are taking up an assignment from OEDC.
- Defining the tasks that are needed from the point of view of the whole
picture and then requesting related OCREWs to take up elements of these
tasks.
- Making (and/or approving) resolutions based on the results obtained by
various OCREWs.
- Composing (and/or approving) position papers on these resolutions and
officially releasing them on website.
- Finding (and/or approving) the new tasks which require attention and
encouraging the creation of new OCREWs to undertake these tasks.
- Evaluating the progress of current OCREWs and taking appropriate action.
- Present specific statements to members for general discussions before
the Annual Membership Meeting and propose resolutions on these issues for
a vote of members at that meeting, and then officially releasing the
resulting documents on the website.
- Review resources (such as links) and approving them to be part of
WAOE's official listing of resources (periodically these resources could
be published as part of WAOE's official publications).
